Christmas at St. Mary’s
This year will mark the 24th annual Christmas at St. Mary’s concert from Rhodes College Department of Music. Begun by Tony Garner, this concert has become an important Memphis tradition as the holiday season gets under way. This year the Rhodes Singers and Women’s Choir will again be featured, and the Rhodes Chamber Singers will offer pieces, as will the Rhodes Orchestra and Brass ensemble. Music will be featured from all period styles, traditional and non-traditional music of the season, in a variety of languages.  As the department has grown and expanded, this concert will reflect that growth, as more diversified music is being offered by more Rhodes ensembles.  The organist is Debbie Smith, and the conductors are Mona Kreitner, Joseph Montelione, and William Skoog.
