Atrium I for 4-6-year-olds is led by Terra Smith Nwobilor, assisted by Joan Cannon
Atrium II for 7-11-year-olds is led by Vickie Baselski, assisted by Marsha Callow.

The curriculum for the Atrium classes is from the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, modeled on the Montessori teaching method.

Children's Chapel, 11:00 - Noon (year round)

Small children are a welcome and energizing presence during the 11 a.m.worship service, but all those readings, collects, sermons, etc can tax their patience while waiting for the "fun stuff" near the end of the service. That's why we developed Children's Chapel for children up to age 10.

At the beginning of the 11 a.m. service, all the kids line up in the back of the Nave (with the choir) and follow the "Children's Cross" in the opening procession and then follow the cross out to the Sisters' Chapel (sometimes other meeting rooms) and have their own special service. The kids are brought back to the Nave in time to join their families for Communion.

Nursery services, 8:00 a.m. - Noon
For infants and pre-potty-trained toddlers whose parents are attending worship services**, we have a professionally staffed Nursery in the Moody Wing (through the hallway on the east side of the Parish Hall, ask one of the ushers for directions).
On Sundays, the Nursery opens at 8 a.m. and closes at Noon (just in time for Communion near the end of the 11 a.m. service.) The Nursery is also open on Wednesday nights from 5:30 until 7:30  p.m. It may also be open during special worship services and diocesan events, call the Cathedral office at 901-527-3361 for availability.

Please note: The gates to the Cathedral parking lot are secured and locked at 1:30 pm after Hospitality Hour. 

**Parents or other guardians must remain on the Cathedral Close while their babies or small children are in the Moody Wing.
