Acolytes, Eucharistic Ministers, & Eucharistic Visitors
Youth and adults may train to serve as acolytes: to carry the cross or torches, light candles, and assist the priest or deacon in setting up the altar.
Eucharistic Ministers assist at the altar and Eucharistic Visitors take the elements from communion to those parishioners who are homebound or hospitalized.
Training is required. Contact Susan Nelson, Verger.

Flower Bundling & Delivery
Altar flowers can be donated in memory of, in celebration or in honor of loved ones on Sundays and special flowers for Easter and Christmas. Donations for bread, wine and candles are also appreciated and needed. See Jan Morrell to participate.
A team of two volunteers bundle the altar flowers once a month. If you have any questions, please contact Carol Morris
Ushers & Greeters
Greeters serve on teams and are present at services to meet and greet parishioners and newcomers. A wonderful way to share St. Mary's ministry of hospitality.

Readers are assigned to read lessons and prayers during worship services. Share your clear, strong voice and your love of scripture. Ushers are also needed for funeral services and concerts...any time the Cathedral is open to welcome guests from the community.

The Cathedral has a long tradition of musical excellence, and our worship and music reflect this while being flexible to remain vibrant and living. Our music is rooted in the great Anglican choral tradition while we sing joyfully from other traditions. The Choir is comprised of volunteers and paid section leaders. Love to sing? Come join us and make a joyful noise unto the Lord!
