A Celebration of Remembrance & Renewal

Read below for an outline of the special events for Martyrs’ Weekend.

St. Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral will celebrate our return to the nave with a special day of festivities and liturgy as we observe the Feast of Constance and Her Companions.

Following the usual Hope & Food Saturday ministry at 9 am, you are invited to a special Mini Health Fair for our neighbors at 9:30 am.

Later on Saturday at 5 pm join us for our celebratory return to the Nave with a special liturgy remembering our heritage, rededicating our worship space, and renewing our ministry as Cathedral.

On Sunday at 10 am we will remember Constance and Her Companions at a special Holy Eucharist with Sr. Hannah Aloysius, Prioress of the Sisters of St. Mary, as out guest preacher.

Then we’ll head out to Elmwood Cemetery for a picnic at Noon and a service honoring the Martyrs of Memphis.
