Hope & Food Community Ministry

Cathedral Hope & Food Ministry

Saturdays at 9:00 am in the Sisters Chapel

Each Saturday, the Cathedral’s Hope & Food Community Ministry provides up to 150 of our neighbors in need with nourishment for the body and soul. Guests gather at 9am in the Sisters Chapel for Morning Prayer, led by lay and clergy volunteers. On the first Saturday of each month, Cathedral Vicar Fr. Noah celebrates the Holy Eucharist-Rite II, in place of Morning Prayer.

Following the service, guests are invited into Martyrs Hall for distribution of both hot and shelf-stable foods. In the spring and summer months, a mini Farmers Market is available on the last Saturday of the month, providing free seasonal produce.

During winter months, warm outerwear such as coats, sweatshirts, gloves, and scarves are also distributed.
