Ways to Give

Hunger Ministry at St. Mary’s

We recognize the importance of being present, particularly to our neighborhood and those who indeed are food insecure and depend on the Cathedral and other agencies for those needs.

At this time, however, we are not gathering for Wednesday morning worship and breakfast. Nor are we distributing food on Saturdays, though St. Mary’s hopes to resume this ministry soon. If you would like to know more, or if you have questions about you can help, contact Dean Gary Meade or Melissa Bridgman. You can also give to the hunger ministry here or via Venmo @Saint-Mary-1.

Episcopal Relief & Development

Episcopal Relief & Development is the compassionate response of The Episcopal Church to human suffering in the world. Hearing God’s call to seek and serve Christ in all persons and to respect the dignity of every human being, Episcopal Relief & Development serves to bring together the generosity of Episcopalians and others with the needs of the world.

Episcopal Relief & Development faithfully administers the funds that it receives from the church and raises from other sources. It provides relief in times of disaster and promotes sustainable development by identifying and addressing the root causes of suffering.

Episcopal Relief & Development cherishes its partnerships within the Anglican Communion, with ecumenical bodies and with others who share a common vision for justice and peace among all people. To donate to the Episcopal Relief fund visit here.

Prayer for People Critically Ill or Facing Great Uncertainty

God of the present moment,
God who in Jesus stills the storm
and soothes the frantic heart;
bring hope and courage to all
who wait or work in uncertainty.

Bring hope that you will make them the equal
of whatever lies ahead.

Bring them courage to endure what cannot be avoided,
for your will is health and wholeness;
you are God, and we need you.
