Mental Health First Aid Training with Church Health Center

Did you know that you are more likely to encounter someone experiencing an emotional or mental crisis than someone having a heart attack? The good news is that you – and your faith community – can help them.
ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID
Church Health Behavioral Health will present a free Mental Health First Aid USA training at St. Mary’s Episcopal from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26. During this training, you will learn a 5-step action plan to offer initial help to people demonstrating symptoms of a mental illness or a crisis, and you will be equipped with the tools to connect them with the appropriate professional, peer, social or self-help care.
Preregistration is required.
