Music at St. Mary's Concert: The World Première Series

Sunday January 26th at 1:00 pm    

Featuring new compositions by Dennis Janzer. Highlights are an organ transcription of the exciting Saint-Saens's Bacchanale from 'Samson et Dalila' and special arrangements of several Spirituals, such as: Walk together children; Poor me; There’s a great camp meeting in the promised land; Joshua fit the battle of Jericho. 

Attend the 12:30 reception that follows the 11AM Eucharist, then stay for the program!

MICAH/SMT meeting

St. Mary’s Cathedral is one of about 50 partners in an interfaith nonpartisan coalition called Memphis Interfaith Coalition for Action and Hope (MICAH). Local officials have publicly committed to work with MICAH on solutions to poverty, unequal education, and racism. You can help move Memphis forward by attending these monthly meetings at St. Mary’s at 9:45 am the first Sunday of every month in the Sara Sadler room (Undercroft.)

Ever wondered about the stained glass windows? Want to know more about our magnificent building and its history? Would you like a guided tour of our facilities? 


Join us on on Sunday, February 2nd--and every first Sunday of the month--immediately following the 11am service, for St. Mary's 101. St. Mary's 101 is led by extremely knowledgeable St. Mary's laypersons as well as clergy. This brief tour will familiarize you with fun and significant facts about the history of St. Mary's Cathedral!

Bishop Phoebe Visit

The Inquirer's Class concludes Sunday, March 1st, 2020 at 10 am in the nave with the Bishop's Forum--all are welcome!


Confirmation/Reaffirmation/Reception will take place during the 11 am Eucharist. 

A festive reception during hospitality hour will honor the confirmands and their families.
