Graveside Cleanup at Elmwood Cemetery

September 9 from 9-11 AM

Leaders: Bradley Leavitt and Mark Henderson

Sister Constance and 3 other nuns from St Mary's died in 1878 caring for yellow fever victims. They are buried at Elmwood Cemetery. Each year we celebrate their sacrifice and have a graveside service, the Litany of Remembrance, to remember them. Volunteers are needed to help clear the graves of weeds, clean the gravestones and honor these women by making their gravesites ready for the Sunday service.

Contact Bradley Leavitt at 419-349-4414 if you can help on Saturday, Sept 9 from 9-11 AM. All supplies provided.
